FotoFest Evenings with the Artists

The Meeting Place Portfolio Review for artists runs parallel to FotoFest's Contemporary Russian Photography exhibitions and is one of the Biennial's most important programs. It presents the opportunity for over 500 photographic artists from 33 nations across the globe to meet and show their work to top arts professionals from around the world. 

This normally serious and business oriented program occurs mostly behind closed doors at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Downtown Houston, but four evenings during the portfolio review, FotoFest opens the doors and invites the public in to interact with the artists participating in the Reviews.

Encounter artists and experience FotoFest in a new way while sipping cocktails with over 120 artists from around the world. Many of the artists have prints for sale and the Evenings with the Artists are a great way to start or supplement a collection. Come early and sit in on the Curatorial Dialogues, or shop at the photo-eye and Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Bookstores. Book Signings by artists are scheduled for each evening. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE
